hi iam severly dissabled on income support and dissability allowance indefenantly i have a young family, my only assetts so to speak are my kids second hand computers,3 dogs,1 parrot,1 cickatiel,2 budgies,and 2 ducks my car is a dissability lease car and i have a electric wheelchair,my telly broke down which was on insurance,so was replaced with flat screen crt 26,inch,would these things be taken,and would banckruptcy be for me, i owe 16k,and have been paying my 18 creditors through ccs,but they advise bankruptcy,can anyone help,please.hoi

Hi hoi and welcome to the forum.

The assets that you have listed would be safe in BR. As far as I'm aware the OR has no interest in a motability vehicle, but hopefully Julian will be able to confirm that.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

Hi there

the assets you describe will be safe in Br.

With regards " is Br the right solution" it would be helpful if we can have a little more info.

The key thing here is are you able to maintain a reasonable repayment plan or is it a serious struggle.

Secondly it is worth checking to see what is says in your tennancy agreement if it is a private landlord.
