Hi, am living with my girlfriend and i have a loan of £11,345 and i am struggling with the repayments as i have to help pay for utility bills and my one year old daughters clothes. Its really worrying me and getting me down please what's the best solution??

Hi Nathan,

Is this your only debt?

Have you spoken to the lender to see if they can help and reduce the payments for you?

I suggest you talk to them if you haven't done so already. If they won't help and it's your only debt, visit the CAB and see if they can talk to the lender for you.

If you don't own your own home, have no DI more than £50 a month after bills have been paid and this is your only debt you may be eligible for a Debt Relief Order.

As Viki says, speak to the lender or visit the CAB.
