Hi everyone, I haven't posted for a long time. Sorry.I am cross posting this in success stories and new questions because there appears to be many differences in the process in Northern Ireland and the mainland. I am hoping this gives anyone over here hope and courage if it's the right option for them.

Let me please start however by thanking everyone on here who kept me going during the first few months before my BR and talked me through the process. Without you all i would still be in a big mess, or worse - i was in a total state and suffered a breakdown soon after the BR went through. Who knows what might of happened if it hadn't though, i dread to think. I spoke regularly to Michael Peoples in Londonderry on the phone and he gave me such courage and support, please call him if you need similar help. (just google him)

I left my job the month after my BR (BR on 24 June 2010)due to bullying at work and could cope no longer, my marriage was in a mess and my husband was waiting on my BR going through before he went for his. Big mistakes with unreliable builders and the collapse of the property market during a renovation and huge losses meant we owed 120k between us.

Everything went super smooth and not anything like a BR in England. Come the day of the 24th June, it was just myself and a lovely lady judge at the High Court in Belfast, Master Kelly was her name. What a lovely lady she was. She asked if i had taken any advice on my options, i told her i had and she stamped my papers BR!!! We had no interviews, no IPO and the house has reverted back to us already after just the year being BR. I don't know why it is so different over here? But thank god it is. I can't believe our good news, it was a big price to pay mentally and emotionally but it could have been much worse by others accounts.

I am happy to say we are beginning to rebuild our life and our relationship too, it is taking a while but i think we will recover and ofcourse we are so careful with every penny we have too. I am still recovering my health and not working yet but I am going to start University in September part=time at first to see how it goes and then hopefully full time after my first exam results.

So if anyone is living in Northern Ireland and thinking of going BR, please don't be afraid. Contact Michael Peoples on the forum, I did and he saved my life, as did you all, Again, a big thank you.

Regards,
