Hi, I have been refused bank accounts by Lloyds, Co-op, and barclays. I have just gone bankrupt and am not sure who approach next. Can you help with ideas? Regards,

Hi and welcome.
You could try Yorkshire Building Society, otherwise it might have to be a paid for account.
Is there any reason why the Co-op turned you down? They are usually excellent.

Hi Poppy,
Are you on the electoral role? If not, then that's why you may have been turned down by Co-op. You can get on it and then re-apply.

coop will automatically turn you down if BR and applying on line.
they will also turn you down as said above, you are not on the electoral role, they may turn you down if they are one of your creditors.
make a telephone call to them and ask for a cash minder account
Good Luck Richard,

If it's for a basic cashminder though, you can't apply online and you will be turned down for any other account if BR regardless of whether you apply online, phone or in branch.
