I was declared bankrupt in July, and have provided everything that the official receiver requested following the interview. There was an indication that I may have a restriction order as I had a holiday prior to bankruptcy, however that was not definite. I have spoken to the receiver today on another matter and I asked her what happens now, she advised that if I did not hear otherwise expect automatic discharge within 12 months. Is that a good indication that I will not be getting a BRU.

Many thanks

yep sounds reasonable

without knowing full info it is unlikely that a holiday would be trigger point for a BRU / BRO

keep your head down and watch the months fly by
