Ok. So the car finance company turned up at the door this morning at 7am!! they have asked a company to collect the car, according to there paper work theres no arrears theyve just asked for return of the car.
im about 3 months behind on payment come this month and im happy for them to take the car because i know my bankruptcy will be hard to keep a HP car. i just cant afford to buy a cheaper car just yet, im trying to save as much as i can for a cheap run about.
is there anything i can do to hold them off a month or two ?
I doubt it if you are three months behind with your payments. Is there anyone who could lend you the money to pay off the arrears if the car is essential?

Given that the car is likely to be sold at auction for a shortfall, try negotiating with the HP company as it's as much in their interest as it is yours to aviod repossession.
