hi i am a bankrupt sept 7th this year i wish i hadnt done it now im worse off i have to pay 117 a month to official recievers im in reciept of benefits and work 16 hours

Hi Dawn,

If you have any surplus at the end of the month after all your essential expenditure, then you will need to pay an IPA. However, if you are struggling, then I advise you speak to the OR.

I agree with Viki - I presume you put down all of your essential expenditure?

If not then speak to the OR as she advises.

Hi Dawn

I am wondering if you have young children at all, as you work 16 hours a week if so how much did you allocate to child care?

hi thanks for replies. the or wouldnt but some of my expenditures down. my main worry is that they are saying i cannot put housing overpayments on i wouldnt have gone down this route iF I Lose top up for my housing then i wont be able to pay them anything. my youngest is 8 so i have my middle girl babysit while i work
