Hi!
I was made bankrupt in 2007 and discharged in 2008. However, my account with Alliance and Leicester, which was frozen at the beginning of the proceeds, is still out of my reach. The bank says I have no access to it even with the statement showing a credit of approx. £2.900.
Is there anything I can do?
Thank you

Hi,

I would have thought that the balance in that would have been paid across to the OR as it would have been part of your bankruptcy.

Hopefully one of the experts can help.

Good morning MJM

The £2900 would have been included in your bankruptcy and taken by the OR as it is an asset of yours. If I were you, I would contact the OR office which dealt with your bankruptcy to request why this sum has not been taken and find out the current status with regards to this sum.

All the best
