Hi i'm a 41yr old mother of 2 boys me and my husband parted nearly 4mths ago, my ex had to leave the property through domestic violence and is unable to return through a court order. The problem I have is that there is 3mths mortgage owing at present and my husband is refusing to pay a anything towards it,I am out of work at present but have been informed by benefits that they will pay £48 wk towards interest, that still leaves an outstanding amount of £330 a month to pay. There is at least 60thousand pound profit in the property. My ex as been contacted but wont agree to put the house on the market. He left with all our savings and I am wandering if he his trying to get me to move out so he can pay off arrears and move back in, your advise would be greatly appreciated, thankyou

Whatever you do don't move. If you can't afford the mortgage and your husband won't pay, at some point the house will be repossessed, but this is months if not years away. Is it possible he may agree to an interest only mortgage (if bank agree)while you sort out the divorce & finances? (A court can order the sale)
