Would just like some clarification with regards my credit report l was made bankcrupt in May 08 discharged Feb 09 had a look on my report and the Yoarkshire bank still shows a balance of £2000 and a default understand the default stays but the amount should be marked as either settled or satisfied is that correct.Have downloaded a letter temperlate to send off with my details discharge etc am l doing the right thing or am l opening a can of works as all the other accounts are either marked as settled or satisified any advice would be welcome.

Yes ray, you are doing the right thing, they should mark it as satisfied.
