Hi all,

Hope you are all well today.

I have detailed my expenditure exactly what i spend or think i should now reduce my spending to (holidays etc) and my expenditure exceeds my income by £5 per month. What should i do in this instance? I don't want to reduce my expenditure an my SOA in case the OR refuses some of my expenditure. It would be very easy to knock a fiver off something but i am worried that if my I & E's are identical it will look suspicious. What do i do for the best???

Hi Hammy - my I&E was a fiver difference as well (but the other way round - income greater than expenditure) - not sure on this one - see what the BR assist guys think.

You should put down what you actually spend and let the OR's examiner assess it on that basis.

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com

Hi Hammy,

No problem if your expenditure exceeds your income by £5 a month. Leave it like that on the SOA.
