In answer to your query there are two options if you wish to file for bankruptcy in the UK, I take it your debts are UK based? You can return to the UK and file for bankruptcy at the High Court in London OR Alternatively, you do not have to return to the UK and you can appoint someone to act for you to apply for bankruptcy on your behalf. I personally do not process this kind of bankruptcy but I can provide you with details of someone I can highly recommend who speialises in this area, if you would like to speak with them please contact me via the 'experts tab' on the left hand side of this screen and I will be happy to help,

Hi Farshid Not too sure if you still need some advice on this subject but we deal with many people living abroad that need to file bankruptcy in England. The three main questions are; which Country do you now reside in, how long you have lived abroad and also which Country have you moved from. The answers to these questions will dictate if you can file for bankruptcy from abroad. Please post a reply if you are still looking for any help!
*sorry Michael - unless you are an expert you are not allowed to post details of your business .
I assume that you were living in the UK and built up debts while you were here? Have you now moved to another EU country or are you outside the EU? If you are in another EU country then you must declare yourself bankrupt within 3 months of leaving the UK. Otherwise you will lose the right to do so. If you have moved outside the EU you have a little longer (up to 3 years) to make the decision. Please let us known if you need any further help or advice.
