I want to get a ccj removed from an account which should never have been put on the account as I was appealing it at the time. How do I go about about removing this from the account and also what costs there will be ?

Hi Stuart,

You can make a general application on form N244 but you need to show you have a realistic prospect of defending the original claim against you.

If by 'appealing it at the time' you mean you were attempting to defend the claim then your defence may have been struck out because it wasn't sufficiently strong.

Regards
