If you can keep your 3 contract going then do so - I'm with them and love the 'All you can eat' data plan!
Yes that's something the competition just couldn't compete with - although 3 do it on PAYG I need to be able to tether it too which they only allow on contract.
I've been with 3 since they launched in 2003. I just don't trust anyone else.
I have a contract with O2 - they have been brilliant BUT they don't do unlimited internet without a cost.
As I got turned down for a 3 account my daughter took it out for me last year and I just changed the bank details so it comes out of my account. The O2 phone is now used by my husband on the most basic of tariffs as it's for emergencies only for him.
Follow through Make your dreams come true Don't give up the fight You will be alright 'Cause there's no one like you in the universe
Well I've had to ring lots of people this month so for the first time ever I am mostly out of my 2000 cross network mins
Luckily all my family are on 3 so when I go to Hospital Ill still have 4500 texts - all my 5000 3-3 mins and my internet.
I do love the way 3 tell you exactly what you will get - no messing about.
The thing about 3 was that they built a data network and then bolted voice onto it - hence why they can do AYCE data. The others put 3G on last and it cost them more.
It's like the old Data Centre vs ISP arguement.
10TB of data to a data centre costs about £2 to an ISP it costs £100. It's cheaper for 3 because they have the deals in to get it cheap. the others dont.
O2 say about their " MASSIVE 1GB" allowance!. Hmm, I've used 1.7GB on 3 in the past 4 hours watching Netflix.. And right now I am getting 7mbps down and up which is cool for a mobile phone.
I know what you mean though. Thanks to my partner and her name we have a very fast home connection.
Anyway I am debt free apart from a mobile contract :)
I hope that my BR might be less than 12 months if the OR is nice to me. I am for once in my life using my position regarding ill health and benefits for me. I've always hated the fact of claiming any.
Spoke to OR today. I may well be going back to work in a few months but they dont care and want my car anyway!
ALso might be able to claim some money for my hospital stay and I hope they dont take that too!. I've had needles in my spine every day for a week I need the money to buy some rest aids!
If you need your car in a few months and it would be best to keep it then you may be able to do this if a friend or family member can offer the OR a lump sum instead of you selling the car. ORs always prefer lump sum offers from 3rd parties as they never know what they are going to get if the car is force sold.
If you do make a claim re your hospital stay than I would be very careful. Any payment you receive might well be treated as a windfall and you may well have to hand it over to the OR. I would check with the OR before making the claim to avoid dissappointment.

Hi James,
Regards the car.. My parents bought it as a gift and I am not going to ask/expect them to pay for it again. I wont know for a few days anyway
Ive asked the OR about the hospital stay. it might be seen as a windfall to them but to me it's essentials to aid my recovery. But if they want it so be it..
I've not even got the claim for yet so I may well not bother.
Re the car I fully understand. Its just one option of being able to keep it rather than have to sell it. It will be interesting to hear what the OR has to say about any possible compensation for your hospital stay. Hope they have a little compassion and let you keep it.
