A bailiff has come to my property, and I offered £20.00 per week, but the bailiff has refused this and advised me the minimum is £40.00 per week. Can the bailiffs refuse the offer of £20.00 per week?

Hi Peter

Short answer - yes. They are not under any obligation to accept any particular amount.

Best Regards

See if you can negotiate something if you cannot afford the £40 a week.

Whatever you do, don't let them into your property. Keep all windows and doors locked if they turn up.

Follow through
Make your dreams come true
Don't give up the fight
You will be alright
'Cause there's no one like you in the universe
