I am a single mother with 14y daughter. I was cheated in business. The manager took my money and I can not affort next quater rent for the commercial property which I have 19 years lease remain. The landlord force me to give the property free to he appoint person who doesn't want the risk of taking over my lease title but only try to do business which I know it's very rare chance to survive. Landlord found many excuse to threathen re enter the property and take everything without court order.

I got nothing in my bank account and no any value able asset except a house I bought by my family's cash. It's my only home.

How can landlord take my asset? Did he need to file my bankcrupt before he can take it? What can happen to my house? Can I kept my only home? I don't have even ¡ê510 in my account to apply for bankcrupt coz I don't have income 1 year!

Hi Sueguo, welcome to the forum.

I'm sorry you've had to go through this.

How much equity is in your home?

How much are your debts?

Hi sueguo

worrying times. the landlord can /do threaten many things but they cannot actually do much and must abide by the laws / rules

get to speak to a landlord / tenancy specialist solcitor soonest before you do anything, be upfront with them stating limited or no money, they will help.

the landlord / tenancy laws are very specific over what can be done at what time by who. consequences both sides for breach of the law.

Good Luck Richard,

Hi and welcome.

So sorry to hear of your problems.

I would recommend speaking to your local CAB to see if they can advise you at all.

Alternatively speak to an expert on here who may be able to help.
