Hi all

see you in a few months happy posting

I have noticed a distinct decrease in new postings on the web site this is in line with the people attending court or seeking advice.

but is this a false economy with the flood gates about to open or hopefully has the recession finished.

However if you are one of those that are hovering around the forum "watching" can i encourage you all to type your concerns their are some great people who either post from experience or are in the industry here to help.

The most important thing with any debt escape,

find someone, who can support you (emotionally not always financially.)

It can get very foggy with creditors chasing and you worried about the future

plan your debt escape carefully, look at debt management plans, IVA, negotiated settlements and bankruptcy. all have negative and positive options.

do not rush into the first solution it has to be affordable and long term correct for you.

then spend time getting "ducks in a row" pension, house, car, job, partner (or ex), kids, gambling , addiction etc

if like me it took many years to get into significant debt then a thorough plan with a final date may take a few years to achieve.

the worse thing to do is hide from your respoinsibilities they wont go away, its only b ****Y money.

as i was once told , if you owe £1,000 or £10,000 and cant pay it causes you the same amount of stress, sleepless nights and upset, you will try to find away to make the payment.

if you owe £100,000 or a £million the upset is shared by your bank manager / creditor. if you cannot pay the money back, the sleepless nights and stress has gone because the decision has been made for you.

BTW I am not advocating making certin you have a £million of debt before making a decision but if the banks are daft enough to give out that much knowing the risk.. well. UM

Good Luck Richard,
