i am in debt and am now also unemployed.i have been seperated from my wife for over a year now and in the last year have payed no monies towards the mortage or upkeep of the house.if i declare myself bankrupt would they make my wife sell the property

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Sorry to hear of your problems. As regards the house, is it in negative equity? Is your wife paying towards it?

I would suggest having a chat with one of the experts on here who will give you some free advice. Alternatively pop down to your local cab.
