i am in fulltime work and rent a flat.over the years i have accumilated almost 20000 in debt..loans and credit cards. i simply have no money to live on week to week except pay my bills and debt..im depressed and as im only affording the minimum payments on credit cards i see no light at the end of the tunnel. i own a small car worth 1000 but without that i cant get to work. is declaring myself bankrupt an option for me.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Bankruptcy is certainly an option for you but you could also consider an IVA.

Hi Richard,

As Niobe has said, bankruptcy may be an option. Other options are an IVA and debt management plan. If you call an expert you can have all options explained in detail to you.
