Some landlords can be funny but I imagine the vast majority are ok as long as rent is up to date and it stays that way.
Private landlords will sometimes ask for six months rent up front once they find out you are BR as happened to a poster on the sister forum several years ago.

Well the letting agent called me. Said the landlord was not bothered. They said they had received a form (or a call can't remember) and they had said there was no arrears and no issues
I was (and still am) 2 months in advance so they have no reason to rock the boat.

if we filed for bankrupcy would our landlord have to be informed ?
