What happens to buy to let properties in negative equity in BR - My partner has been offered my interest in our portfolio of properties by the trustee in bankruptcy for £46000.00, however we have valued them and they are all in negative equity - What happens if we offer a nominal £1.00 and what happens to the properties if we do not buy the trustees interest
The OR would usually collect your share of the rent, regardless of whether your properties are in negative equity. There is also no timescale for the trustee to deal with them.
