I am considering bankruptcy (can no longer afford payments to IVA). My main worry is that I rent from my ex, I have an AST. I'd like to move but don't have a deposit or rent in advance, let alone my dodgy credit rating.
My question is about beneficial interest in the property, would the OR decide that I have? I've no idea of how much the mortgage is or if there is any equity. Can anyone offer any advice please?

Hi Loz,

If you've not contributed to the property financially at all, then you won't have a beneficial interest.
