Good Morning , My fiance both had our OR telephone interview today and it went really well.
For all of you waiting for your OR interview please dont stress , we had both bitten each others heads off before the call but looking back now we were worried about nothing!
Firstly my fiance had his call at dead on 9am , the OR intrduced himself and ran through all his debts etc and symphathised with us having to rob peter to pay paul. There was one large loan that the OR queried and said he probably shouldnt have taken it out and that Lloyds our lender shouldnt have given it to him in the first place but that was about the only critisim he recieved.
He was told he doesnt have to make an IPA (is that the right letters?)
He can keep the car worth £1500
He will possibly go on NIL tax code for the rest of finacial year
His contract phone will be cancelled (we wanted this too happen)
is call lasted about 45 minutes then the OR hung up for a quick tea break then called me.
He said that he knew all the background stuff would be the same and the reasons why we got in debt. He ran through my loans etc
He said he wouldnt take benefits into account
My contract phone would be cancelled (also wanted this to happen)
All in all a very easy stress free call. We have got to forward some house sale papers through to him but lukily we had sent all our cutt up cards and statements a few weeks ago! I think he may have been impressed at our organising lol!
Just a note - one of my loans was taken out for the car however the car is registered in my fiances name . The OR confirmed if it was in my name he would have had to take is as i dont work however my partner does and as its in his name he can keep it.
Sounds like that was a nice straight forward interview. The examiner will always appreciate it if they are interviewing someone who is organised, as it makes for a smoother easier interview and report.
You can put it all behind you now. Just co-operate with the OR fully and an early discharge will be coming your way.
