i wondered as i am applying for bankruptcy on 20th august if i could use my credit card to buy some food and some things for my 3 month old daughter. i already owe £650 on the card but i dont have that much money spare without using it. Would it be classed as irresponsible spending and would i get into trouble when applying for bankruptcy?

Hi
As you have already made your appointment for BR you should not continue to use your credit card.
If it's for a very small amount and an emergency, and provide your bank statements will later show insufficient funds at the time of using the card the OR MAY be understanding.
However, as you have made the court appointment then technically this is increasing your debt with no means of being able to repay which could lead to a BRU/BRO.
