HI
A debtor is seeking bankruptcy against my father. When My mum died I brought our house and initially both our names were on the deeds although I paid the full value and the morgage is in my name. Just over 4 yrs ago I had the deeds solely changed into my name as I pay the morgage and all bills. As part of my fathers banruptcy will there be a claim on the house.

Hi
it is within the 5 year window that you took your father off the deeds which may be looked at when your father is interviewed by the OR after bankruptcy.

However, if you still have proof of the valuation / survey carried out at the time you purchased the house, and proof of the price you paid, then I'm sure your property is safe as it was not a transaction under value.
