Hi, im Azz, I have for the past few years been running away from my debt and now I need to start fresh. Its all my fault really, I got married my other half started to stress the hell out of my and I turned into a gambler, owning £1000's to the bank, and now I want to start fresh, with a new life. My question is, I dont own any thing at all nothing (except my clothes and mobile phone) do you think im going the right way going bankcrupt? my current debt is £12,000 but I do work but only get left with £145 after all expenses are paid.
I might have told you too much! but rather tell then not tell.

Hi Azz
Bankruptcy is certainly an option to you but with £12K debt, IVA is not.
Or you could choose to enter a debt management plan.
If you were prepared to pay the 145 pounds each month into a DMP you would be debt free inside 7 years.

Hey John, thanks for the advice, i've rang up my local court and have asked them to post out the forms. I dont think I can live giving £145 of what I have left for the next 7 years... I'll let you know how things get on.
