hello everyone, been looking at this site for about a year. never had the nerve to come on and post. now we are heading to br like an express train, really need some advice. we are in an iva , missed a load of payments. offered f+f when there was enough equity and was accepted by creditors.at the time nobody told us about thecredit crunch that was around the corner .not enough left now due tohouse prices falling. the real problem i have is i took out a credit card with my new bank acc before my iva was approved. due to unforeseen problems the card is maxed.am i looking at prison when my ip or future o,r, finds out. what a mess. please help. thanks. |

Hi
If you still have equity in your property, albeit very much reduced from what was, and your IVA is failing may I suggest you call the helpline and leave a message for someone to call you back.
The advice is free and you could explain your position in more detail and then establish your options.

Hi donefor that's another reason why I suggested the call as so many aspects of the application, disclosure or non disclosure, how much credit used, on what, and over what period all have a potential impact.
