Hi, great forum, I cant afford to go BR for a couple of months. In the meantime I cant afford to pay my creditors and wondered whether I could advise them of my intention to petition for bankruptcy.

Hi and Welcome,

Its up to you. I did not tell anyone just advised them via letter that i needed a bit extra time to get myself sorted out. Some on here did but again its totally up to you.

Keep Smiling
Jo :)

Hi
nothing wrong with telling them but it rarely has any positive impact.
Once you start to miss the payments the phone calls and letters are inevitable I'm afraid but if that's the way for you to get your court fees etc together then that's what you should do.
