As we have appt for BR next wednesday, my questions are: Will my wife and I be able to see the judge together? How long will it be before the OR contact us and subsequent meeting. (we will deffo need a face to face interview) How long will is the interview likely to last? Will we both get the same OR? Will we both be able to see the OR together? My wife has been to hell and back and is now starting to worry about the next stages. Still managing to keep the enforcement officer at bay........(dont know how long for though!! |

OMG! HM so many questions. Right i will try and help. The judge i cant see why not but maybe someone else will know more, we did not see the judge but we did do everything together on the day. We had an initial call same day from OR office, introducing themselves. We had a call 4 days later to arrange the interview and had the main interview 8 days after BR. This can depend though on many circumstances and each case is different as is each office. It may take a week to get a call, maybe longer to get an interview and sometimes it is not needed if they can get what they want from the SOA. Also some courts you can see the OR straight away some u dont. Yes as far as im aware you will get the same OR. I did not speak to my OR at the same time as my OH they were 1 after the other but we were tech together as we had an over the phone one. Tell your wife, it will be fine, it is a relatively simple process well i know what i mean, but i know how i felt just prior and on the day. Good luck
Keep Smiling Jo :)

Hi Harbourmaster,
The simple answer is that it's at the judge's and OR's discretion whether they handle you together or seperately.

Hi Jo,
Your experience is vital to help shed light on what the ORs etc do with their "discretion".
