Hi me again,
just trying to fill out the forms online and getting a bit stuck!
1) can you put down general living and bill payments for the reason you used the cards to get into debt.

2)i have listed all the credit card debts in the unsecured creditor bit, do i list them again in the bank and credit/debit card bit!

3)Both hubby and i are on benefits. i have listed where and what my benefits are(Disabled)in the income bit but it doesn't give you the opportunity to state what sort of income is in the other housemembers contribution. My husband is also disabled and i wanted to let them know so they will be a bit more leinient when it comes to the disposable income.

Thanks Muchly this fine Sunday morning!
Tracy, br 9th oOct and counting

Hi Tracy, I'm by no means an expert, but I'll try and answer your questions for you.

1) That reason seems fine, as lots of folk get into this situation like that (me included).

2) List the debts in the "un-secured creditor" section, but you must also state the card number/type etc in the "card detail" section.

3) Just put your income (however it's earned) in your "income" section, and hubby's in the "other household members contribution" section. If you feel you want to elaborate about hubby's income, do so in the last section - "more information".

Hope this helps,

T.

Hi Tracey

1) Yes if that's what you used the money for.
2) Yes you do need to list them again
3) put your husbands benefits in section 6, where it requests benefits and allowance figures, as these apply to the household. Not just to your own benefits.
If this is his only form of income then his "contribution" should read zero.

WOW! I was a bit slow there!!!

I was in a right panic when filling out my forms too, but plenty of helpful people on-hand to help. I found the online forms easier to fathom (maybe that's just the 70s ZX-Spectrum child in me!)

Hi Tracy

I know they can seem quite daunting at times but i found doing a bit at a time, posting my questions on here, then adding the info on the forms helped me heaps.
It will all come good in the end and we are here to help and assit when you need it most.
I always say remember your not alone and you never will be. Think of us as virtual friends and we will together get through this. I did, and its thanks to these guys and there great help and understanding, as i asked and still do some daft questions but without this place i would still be struggling with my debts, alone as my hubby would have left me and never come back. these guys gave me confidence and now i know i can do almost anything, and so will you. :-)
