Hi Tracey

A default notice is always issued prior to any other action, it is a requirment by law i believe that they issue this is a warning so to speak so that it covers there back should they need to go ahead with any further action to recover the debt.
Your going BR on the 9th of Oct you will be fine, they cant gat anything like ccjs with court action if that is there intention in time.
Hope i have helped.

Hi
it will just be recorded on your credit file. No action will be taken against you and you need take no action either. It will have no impact on your BR.

I believe they have to "default" the account, as soon as they hear it will be included in the BR. A fancy way for saying the account "agreement" will be ended.

Certainly won't affect you going BR.
