Hi sky,

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Nowhere else to go in what sense?

Hi
if you are living in your own property which may be lost in repossession, an eviction notice presented to your local housing authority would normally instigate a process whereby you are housed by them.
Alternatively you would have a minimum 6 months from the first time you have missed a monthly mortgage payment to find a private rental.

If the property is lost in BR due to a forced sale the OR would normally give you up to the 11th month of your BR to find private rental or, again, a local housing authority accommodation, before he begins the necessary court procedure to force the sale.
