Hi All
I went br yesterday at 9.35. The process was so simple i went in at 9.15 and was out by 10. Never saw the judge, it was great when i paid the money as they checked every note in case it was forged!!
I spoke to the OR yesterday afternoon and she was really nice. Haven't got my date yet for interview but she said we'd work it around my work, someone on here was worried about that as work part time in a school, can't remember who, sorry, but hope you read this so it can settle that thought for you.
Got to say though i did feel really rubbish for the rest of the day and wasn't great when i got up this morning but feeling a bit better now. My bank account was closed yesterday (alliance and leicester) and applied for a new one with them but think i might pop into co-op tomorrow as i can't do standing orders from the alliance and leicester, they do online banking, cash card and can do direct debits. Also the person I spoke to on the phone at Alliance and Leicester told me that ALL banks have to offer basic accounts it's in the baking code apparently, so with that knowledge theoretically you should be able to walk into any bank and open an account after going BR (unless perhaps you owe them money i'm guessing!)
My CB hasn't gone into the account it was suppose to today but everytime i've phoned them today can't even get in the queing system and it just cuts me off so great!!!!!
Well, thought that i would share all that with you, sorry it's a bit long. But as others have already said it's not scary at all. I just felt rubbish because of my past and how this has all come about for me.
Good luck to everyone who's waiting for their date nat

Hi Nat,
Just take things one day at a time. You'll most likely find the OR interview isn't half as bad as you're expecting (mine was a 20 minute telephone call).

Hi all Thanks for the words of support. Actually got a full nights sleep last night so feel much better today. I haven't got a date for interview yet, i suppose the ony thing i'mworried about is the amount that i pay out for all the kids activities, put £18 amonth towards school trips used by a guideline recieved from my daughters school, still worried this won't be enough as got another letter from the school saying how they have this property in France and are wanting to take her year there for a week sometime, think that might be a bit extra snd beyond what i can afford!!!! I'll just have to wait and see what she says and just go from there, if only the ex would pay up for some of the stuff without a huge battle would be great, but that's another thing. Did manage to log onto CB website and discovered it's not due until tomorrow, oops got a bit muddled, probably cos in August it landed on a bank holiday which is why i got it on a friday. Did get a letter from tax credits confirming that the next payment will go into the other account so one less thing to worry about there. I did get an account witht he Co-op, i did it over the phone and was approved straight away so just waiting for the stuff to come through the post so knowing me i'll end up with 2 accounts now!! Decided though if i do get the other account with alliance and leicester i'll keep it and put the money for car, mot, insurance etc into there so it doesn't get muddled with my other money. All in all feeling much more positive and really should shut up cos i think i've typed loads again!!! Hope all goes well for you Poopedmass (love the name!!) I'm sure it will |
