I am sure there are many like me who over the last few days have had little sympathy for the Bankers who for years have bled us all dry! leading to a lot of us to go BR.

How sorry I am to see the poor dears with their £500k+ yearly bonuses face the kind of financial reality many of us have faced and had sleepless nights for many month and years. In my case I did not go to the government and asked to be bailed out so why should they? During the good years these "fat cats" had their noses in the trough not caring about the man on the street just profit!

Of course I feel sorry for anyone who loses their job, house, future but a lot of these guys have caused and brought this misery on many families.

In my particular case, BR was the best financial decision I have made in the last decade. OK my credit rating is trashed for 6 years but over the last year I have learnt who needs credit! It is almost a drug that has been "pushed" on us all. I no longer get 10 letters or calls a day demanding money and I sleep at night.
I urge anyone going through the pre-BR shall I shan't I worries DO IT!. your blood pressure will drop overnight!

Brilliant post!! This has just made my mind up for me, currently in an iva, but know that its going to fail in the new year, so I will stop worrying and wait for January and go BR. Thanks donememoney
