I have looked at my credit file and noticed that i have been defaulted (last year)by Alliance & Leicester. I was not aware of this at all as i received no letters from them.

Do i add this in my BR or because it was so long ago just leave it?

Thanks

Jenny

Hi
not sure what you mean.
Irrespective of a default, if you still owe money then it is a debt and must be listed.
If you have subsequently satisfied the debt then you've no need to list it.

Hi John

I have never paid the debt off as i did not know i owed the money (it was a bank account that i never used) - they therefore defaulted me last year. It is not down as settled.

So, because it has never been settled i was wondering if i should add it to my creditors to include it in my br or just leave it as it is.
