Iam BR and have an IPA agreed which I have started paying. Iam in a new job for a year where I will be paid extra for doing night shifts whic would mean extra monthly income.how would the OR think about that, do i pay 50% of that money. the extra pay being for one year only will that mean a change of my current IPA for the 3 years to come ,as I will return to my previous pay after this year. many thanks Abd |

Hi Abd,
Your IPA is reviewable as your circumstances change. You have a duty to tell the OR if your pay goes up within 21 days of it happening, and they'll either tell you it's not worth bothering about, or they'll ask you to submit a revised I&E form. You can tell them on here if, for example, your gas and electric have gone up etc and they should review your whole I&E accordingly. The same should happen if and when your present job ends.
Hope that helps!

Hi again,
Yes it will, although child benefit will not be counted as income for the purposes of an IPA. You will need to inform them when you start to receive them though.
Take care,
