Hi all!! Thanks for the good luck wishes!! Well it's all done and dusted, however i can honestly say it was very traumatic!! Not only did we get there for 9.35am all ready to go for it, but at 10am was informed that i'd printed the wrong forms!! i'd printed them prior to submitting them online, therefore when computer showed a sample form of the petition all official, i didn't realise they were the correct forms!! we then went back home and sorted that out, but it took ages to print 2x3 sets, that when i called back, they said to go back on fri!! was gutted however after getting upset on the phone, the lady at the court sorted it and squeezed us in!! hoorah!! don't think i could have coped if had to wait til fri! then we decided to get a taxi so we'd be there sooner, and it didn't turn up for 20 mins!! anyway, didn't even have to see the judge and was declared BR at 12.35pm!! spoke to the OR office and now waiting to hear from the OR. not sure how long that will take tho? after that we went to natwest to tell them and the bank manager was dead snotty and wouldn't make a decision if they could keep account open, so sod it, have decided to go to Abbey this week to sort it! it's been one big emotional day, and have just celebrated with a meal and some wine (as hadn't eaten all day!!) Can't stop smiling! I must also say, that i was overwhelmed how warm, lovely and helpful ALL the staff at the court was, they made us feel so at ease. the waiting was a long time but it was my fault due to the paperwork. TOP TIP print the forms after submitting online, and at least the day before!! next step-waiting for credit search of rental property, and then looking forward to the rest of our lives debt free!! thanks for all the support everyone (it has been much better than CAB!!)
