Hi all,
Well had the interview today. lasted 22mins for the both of us. Could have gone better, he said that we would get a bro/bru lasting for about 3 years. No IPO/IPA cause we on benefits only and he didn't think our income was sufficent ebough for a voluntary payment, so that was good news.

I am worried by this BRO/BRU. what exactly is it and how will it affect us. could we end up inprison?

Hi Tracy

Thats good that the interview is over now.

The BRU/BRO is not as bad as you think. If given one you will be discharged after the year but you will have to bide by the BR rules set against you whilst you were undischarged like no credit over 500 witout telling them you are undischarged and there are certain professions you cant be part of, but at the end of the day you should have learnt your lesson and not want credit like that again for a very very long time and i doubt if you want to be a company director etc.

Think of it this way its like a slapped wrist and a way of the OR making sure you learn your lesson and that you dont get inot any more debt for ages.

Its kind really although it sounds very scary.

You wont end up in prison either. As long as your honest with the OR and dont hide things then you should be just fine.

Thanks Jo,

NO CREDIT EVER AGAIN! I never want to do this again and as long as i dont end up in prison i will be alright.

Thanks again Jo

Hey Tracy

Your most welcome!

Enjoy the rest of the day and try not to think about the BRU/BRO thing, we were told we may get one, but heard nothing yet, so im not worried.

Hi Eamonn,

Thanks. I have no inclination to be anything remotely serious like judges, mps etc.
I have actually just spoken to the OR and he said not to worry about it, and that its an outside chance anyway. Heres hoping

Hi Tracy,

Glad to hear its all over.

A BRU is exactly that, a slapped wrist and we should all think of it in that way but you are still discharged after one year (easy for me to say when I am still waiting to hear from my OR and its a worry for me!).

Hi tracy,

We're worrying about a p[ossible BRU too. Remember though, they are really busy at the moment, and lots of the investigations they intend to do are having to be dropped. Fingers crossed yours (and ours!!) will be one of those cases! :-)

Try not to worry. We're trying hard to put it to the back of our minds till we hear anything.

Take care and ignore the likes of Jacque-there's always one!

Hi Tracy

Im glad it went ok for you - In my head i dont mind if i get a bru (even though i am not sure if i will get on), as long as its no longer than the six years. Its not as if im ever going to want credit again after this, so please try and be positive and as BC says put it to the back of your mind.

Take care

Jenny
