Hi Everyone,
Just wondered how long it was until you had contact from the OR?
We went BR yesterday and were told they would be in touch with us within 3 hours. My husband called them at 4 and was told that the OR dealing with us was on holiday yesterday. Had no call at all yet today so not going to chase him.
How long was it for everyone else?

Hi Jayne
Firstly dont panic the OR wont forget, they are probably busy but they will get in touch sometimes it can take a few days other a week or more.
If you have not heard in a week or 10 days then call them again but i would not panic yet they wont forget and will be in contact shortly.

Thanks for the kind words about my blog, as i think of things i add them in as its questions and answers that effect me too.
Although i have only been on here since July i have learnt an awfull lot and hope that the knowledge that i have gained i will be able to pass over to others in the future.
Who knows maybe one day i could make this my new job!
Best of luck and sit back and relax it will all come good, we went BR on a monday and got our call about the interview on the Fri then were told we would have our interviews on the Tues so 8 days after we went BR.

my or office said not to contact them but if they had not been in ouch within 7 days to contact them then i hope that helps

We went BR last Thursday and the OR phoned us the same day to make appointments for phone interviews for this Thursday. Hope that helps

I went BR yesterday and was taken into the side room straight away, and my telephone appointment was made for next tuesday for about an hour.

| Hi Jayne, Have you heard anything today. You were at B'ham werent you? My OR will be from B'ham also and I was hoping to get everything over with before hols go for a week to Wales on the 24th (holiday is free of charge lol) aunts caravan - will be in court fri x |

6 weeks and still nothing about yours, that is probably a good thing as yours was quite straight forward for them, i reckon you will be up for an ED.

Jo, you are doing such a fantastic job. I dont think I've ever come across anyone so selfless. Really hope that I can meet you one day face to face. The drinks will be on me.
A week after BR the OR asked for copies of car documents (car was made exempt), and offered to sell us BI for a £1. We signed forms and that was the last we heard. They did say that they had no interest in interviewing us either. Wish I knew what was happening with an IPA though. There is no spare cash, just want them to agree with me. Also need to declare our seperation to them with new bank account details etc. Will do that as soon as everything finalised in the month.
Keep forgetting that I am BR. Still not sunk in that I am debt free. So far, no negative impact but I'm only a couple of months in!
Anyway, I'll be around still as I still have lots of questions.

Oh thank you for your kind words. I like to be here for you all, maybe one day i can give John and Julian a run for their money :-) LOL
Nah only messing they are the true experts and i am just like you!
I hope that you hear from the OR soon as its the not knowing that can do your head in, i ended up calling mine when i was not sure about my Cherished plate and then found out about the car etc then.
Otherwise i dont think i would have been any the wiser.
I never wanted you to think and this goes to all members that i have taken over in any way shape or form, somehow i just feel its my duty and i love doing it to guide others around the obstacle of BR and try and put the fears and worries to rest.
I know i have been a member for what about 15 weeks BR only 11 but somehow i have felt drawn to this and it is this that keeps me going.
I would love to meet up with you and also i you dont mind if i get your email address from admin can i add you to my crissy card list.
Please TD you take care and stay strong, those little girls you need now more than ever as you need them, they will keep you going. :-)
