hi i hope someone can advise me. My husband and i were made bankrupt in may this year ans all in all its been a great thing for us.We got ourselves in a terrible mess and couldn't get out.
I have some descisions to make firstly we have term assurance which the OR says is now an asset so we need to either cancel or pay the or to release it back to us.We have small children so can't really afford not to have it but we are still struggling financially so it would be difficult to raise the £100 that the OR wants especially this time of year.Could we cancel the policy and start a new one when we have been discharged?wouls we struggle to get life insurance having been mad bankrupt?
Secondly we don't have to sell the house as we are in negative equity but we are struggling to make the mortgage and 2nd loan payments do we voluntarily give it up and move into rented?Would we struggle to rent being bankrupts? I am really worried about the insecurity of renting.
please help c pen
