Hi
i just wanted to confirm that what is stated below from a letter from the Insolvency service. does it mean we cant keep this money. They never put things in straight English do they.
having taken advice I can confirm that on present information the Official Receiver will not be realising your £500 bonus which you are due from work. |

This means you don't have to pay it to them.

If you are not too sure if you should spend it or not, why not give the Insolvency Service a call who wrote to you just to confirm in 'our english' what it actually means - it certainly looks as though its yours to keep

Wouldn't recommend you call and ask them to "Review " the decision. They just might change their minds.
If you have a letter saying the money is yours - accept it at face value - and keep their letter. The letter you have is your absolute "get out of gaol free card!"

I certainly would not be questioning it - as this time of year with children is quite expensive

The TV adverts don't help at all

Hey Paul
I agree with the TV adverts, i have 3 boys and each of those want something different everytime the adverts come on.
Oh well they will have to wait and see what santa brings them.
LOL
