Been on this site for a while but my profile has gone astray.
Anyhow im 2 months into my IPA but this month i had hardly any wages. I rang the collection people and they gave me a payment holiday.
Does this mean i have to pay this amount back before the 36 months are up. Do i pay double next month??????
Also how many holidays do you get as it looks like work as gone for this month as well.

Hi Gary

You do need to keep the OR informed of any changes throughout your IPA period and during your BR.

It may be wrth mentioning this to the OR as you may be able to get it reduced, give them another call and explain the situation.

LOL

When I asked Clarke Willmott whether I needed to let the OR know about a pay rise they told me that I didn't need to and to send them the information as they then notify the OR.

I read on another forum that an IPA lasts 36 months from the date of the first payment and no longer. Hopefully one of the experts can confirm if this is correct?

Hi,

Yes, that's right, Skippy. Even if your IPA is 'suspended' because you no longer have sufficient DI to pay it, it still only lasts the 36 months.

Hope that's clear.

Awww thanks Jenny!

I'm fine thanks. I'm still lurking and reading when I can, but being back at work and having little man here when I'm not means I have much less time than I had before unfortunately. I will try to keep posting whenever I have something to add, though.

Hope you're ok?
