Hello again

I did not want to get two posts mixed up with each other as this is slightly different. In my previous post I explained about my own property attracting an interim charging order. However, my partner and myself live out in the country now and we have our mail sent to her place of work. She runs her own business and rents the property. A few days ago, I had a letter sent to me from the courts stating an interim charging order was being placed on this property as well for the same debt and same solicitors who had a charging order placed on my own home as explained in my previous post. What I do not understand is surely they would check with the land registry beforehand and if so would find out that I have absoloutely no association with this property whatsoever. Can they do this? Or are they just shooting in the dark and hoping they will hit something at some point. This could be very embarrasing for my partner as she rents the property from the owners who she worked for for over 25 years. What can I do?

Hi Pix1

I can assure you they are genuine copies. Originals at that.

Thanks

Andy
