| hi my husband and i are going br in jan he has a company van and is away from home during the week i dont work but we have four children who go to three different schools between them because of age, i need my car to get the kids to school especially the little ones it would be impossible to walk due to getting them there at the right time will they take my car these schools are also the closest to us many thanks |

What is the value of your car and also is it on finance.
It would be down to the OR seeing that you def need this vehicle and also the value.

| hi jo , no my car is not on finance its an old m reg import people carrier worth about £800.00 on autotrader if lucky but i would be so lost without it i always have appointments for one or the other of my children |

Hi Hanlou
As long as you can show and prove to the OR that you need the car then they may well let you keep it, even if they say you can buy the BI in the car.
The OR has a rough price that they may allow for a vehicle to be kept but its not guaranteed at the end of the day, you need to be able to show without a doubt that you need it.
I will keep my fingers crossed and hopefully the OR will say YES to you keeping the car esp as you need for the kiddies etc.
