Hi All
I have my court date this Friday. What will happen? What will they check? How long after will my interview be and how many months are the payments normally for?

Hi HelpBR & Welcome

You arrive at the court with your form and wait to see a clerk. The clerk will take you into a side room check over your form, get you to sign under oath and she will witness this. You will hand over the fee £495 cash and then wait.

You may or may not see the judge, then you will wait again to see the clerk and get the notice letter with your details on saying your now bankrupt.

Time in court about 2 hours more or less.

You may not get the letter some post this out to you. Then you may or may not get the call from the OR to introduce themselves and they will just ask if you have anything that needs dealing with now.

They will inform you that you will get a pack with other things in so that they can arrange your interview either over the phone or face to face, most people have over the phone.

If you do have an IPA it will be max 3 years.

Good luck for Friday.

Thanks for your response. How long should I expect to be waiting around at the court for?

A couple of hours max maybe, its all dependent on the court and how busy they are.
