If I am on employment and support allowance when I petition for bankruptcy, then manage to find work within the next few weeks, will the court do an attachment of earnings even if the job I hope to get is fixed term until September 2009? Thanks. (It is a job that will just about cover living expenses).

Hi

if you are able to get a job then the official receiver would only be looking at a contribution towards the debts IF you had disposable income AFTER all normal living expenses are taken into consideration.
