Hi everyone
My hubby and I are having our phone inteviews on the 21st of January. I've been reading on here what sort of questions to expect and am kind of prepared for this. My question is will the OR ask for my bank statements, credit card statements etc? They haven't asked for them yet. Is this something they will ask for after my phone interview?
Thanks for any help.

Hi Amanda,
The OR usually asks for these in advance of the meeting (last 12 month worth). However, they can obtain copies directly from the banks/lenders, so I wouldn't worry if you don't have them to hand.

Hi Julian
Thanks for the reply. They sent us a letter advising the date for our phone interview and some other forms we needed to sign and have witnessed but didn't ask for anything else. I do have the statements but was wondering if they may ask for them at a later date...say after the phone interview?

hi there..
i went BR in aug 08, had OR phone interview sept 08.The man asked me to just send off the statements for 2 of my cards (with the highest debt on).
then received a letter in nov 08 asking for 12 months bank statements, remaining credit card statements and also some questions about the sale of our house and my partners and my earnings for the last 12 months. Also had to complete another expenditure form (a more detailed version than in the SOA).
I sent them all back and then got another letter asking me for OR interview which is tomorrow.
don't know if that helps you at all?!!

Hi Amanda
We were asked to send down last 12 months statements for our bank, credit cards, also any credit agreements like loans, copies of utilities incl council tax, all letters that we had, our mortgage statement & agreement and we also had to sign some forms too.
Went BR 4/8, had initial call 8/8 to inform of the telephone call which was the 12/8, had the letter asking for the stuff Saturday 9/8 sent all docs down guaranteed next day, had telephone call 12/8.
During our call the examiner had not gone through our whole pile of stuff we sent to them, i sent everything i had all 2kg worth as i had kept it all.
They asked basically what was on the SoA just going into more detail really, they paused every so often to write down what we had said and then carried on. We did not hear straight away about the car, what was allowed for our I&E or even if we would have an IPA but overall the interview went well and i did not feel intimidated by them, infact i felt at ease.
Good luck and dont worry.
