Hi,
If my wife has bought for instance a plasma tv in the past 12 months on her credit card in her name only,will the receivers take this as being my asset as it will be only myself going bankrupt not my wife,please

Hi and welcome

I doubt if the OR would be too interested in the TV as its value would be very minimal and so not worth there while even considering it.

How much are we talkinghere?

Most household goods are not touched unless they can be sold for a good amount like valuable antiques etc.

Hi

as your wife purchased the TV and she is not declaring bankruptcy the item is perfectly safe and cannot be claimed by the OR in the event of your bankruptcy.
