hi all can anyone tell me if BR IF I CAN STILL PAY MY GAS,ELECTRIC, TV AND PHONE THROUGH DIRECT DEBIT(OBVIOUSLY IN A NEW ACC). THEY ARE NOT BILLED DIRECTLY TO ME THEY ARE IN PARTNERS NAME BUT GO THROUGH MY BANK, I HEARD SOMEWHERE YOU COULDNT HAVE THESE EG..MUST HAVE PREPAID METERS? THANX |

hi, i have set up an account wit the co-op prior to going bankrupt and i have all utilities set up on DD and i dont think its a problem
moving forward to new beginnings |

Your normal utilities etc are ok to continue to pay even after bankruptcy and are fine with a new account and doing them through DD.
As for prepayment meters then unless you included say one of your suppliers in BR then you had to stay with them they then may impose per payment meters.
But other than that you must continue with your utilities as these are essential expenses.

All utilities are in my name and im still paying by dd through the coop also - only cos hubby is useless at dealing with household bills
Onwards and Upwards is the way im going :-0)
From "Moneyworries" to "Movin On" in 3 months is fantastic :-))
