Hi!
Does anyone know, if a bankrupt AFTER discharge (assuming there's no restrictive orders made),comes into an inheritance OR wins some money (competitions, etc). Can they be taken by the bankruptcy (i.e. taken by the trustee or the creditors)?? Thanks!...

Hi Suze,

As long as you're discharged and not in an IPA/IPO, the OR/Trustee has no claim on any windfalls etc whatsoever.

Hi

as long as you are discharged the money received, a windfall, would not need to be divulged as it would be exempt even where an IPA is in situ.
